Super Bowl Game Interrupted by Massive DIRECTV Outage

Date:

DIRECTV subscribers experienced a frustrating outage during the Super Bowl as the 4K feed went down for over an hour and was unable to return. This specific outage only impacted the 4K feed of the Super Bowl, leaving many fans unable to watch the game in high-quality resolution. In response to the issue, DIRECTV released a statement on Twitter apologizing for the inconvenience and assuring customers that they were working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

The outage occurred shortly after DIRECTV announced a deal to restore Cox-owned local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC channels just in time for the Super Bowl.
