In March, the United States economy saw continued job growth, with the rate of job gains increasing compared to the previous month, despite prevailing economic uncertainties. According to the Labor Department’s announcement on Friday, employers added 228,000 jobs during March. This figure surpassed the estimates of economists at LSEG, who had predicted an increase of 135,000 jobs. The unemployment rate, however, rose to 4.2%, which is slightly higher than the previous month and above economists’ expectations.
As the situation develops, further updates are anticipated.
