Larry Kudlow Responds to Hamas Leader’s Death

Date:

FOX Business host Larry Kudlow shared his thoughts on the recent killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar during an episode of ‘Kudlow.’ Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu described the event as “light prevailing over darkness,” referring to the death of Sinwar, who was involved in orchestrating a deadly attack on an international music festival on October 7, 2023.

Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces conducting operations in Southern Gaza, with his identity confirmed through forensic methods such as DNA and dental analysis. Despite his death, the conflict persists, with approximately one hundred hostages, including Americans, still believed to be held captive. Additionally, two top Hamas leaders are reportedly living in exile in Qatar, one being Sinwar’s deputy.

Kudlow criticized Qatar’s position, suggesting that if Qatar were a true ally to the United States, it would arrest these Hamas leaders and extradite them to Israel to face justice, which could potentially lead to an end to the ongoing conflict. However, Kudlow argued that the continued insistence of the Biden-Harris administration for Israel to deliver more aid to Gaza, which he contends often ends up in the hands of Hamas, is not a solution.

He further highlighted concerns regarding the U.N. refugee relief efforts, noting evidence suggesting many involved may have ties to Hamas. One bodyguard of Sinwar, killed in the recent strike, was discovered to have a passport identifying him as a teacher with UNRWA.

Kudlow emphasized that the U.S. should allow Israel to continue its military actions without interference. He indicated that Israel is actively targeting Hamas, Hezbollah, and potentially Iranian military installations. He concluded with the assertion that supporting Israel’s efforts would ultimately serve the interests of the United States and its allies.

This summary is based on Larry Kudlow’s opening commentary on the October 17, 2024, edition of “Kudlow.”
