Victoria’s Secret has restored its website following a temporary shutdown earlier in the week due to a “security incident.” By Friday, the website was fully operational.
A spokesperson for Victoria’s Secret confirmed to FOX Business that the website is back online and expressed appreciation for customer patience. The company looks forward to welcoming customers back both online and in physical Victoria’s Secret and PINK stores.
Earlier in the week, the retailer took its website and some in-store services offline as a precautionary measure while addressing the security issue. During this period, visitors to the website encountered a black screen displaying a message. With the issue resolved, the website now features a range of products, including current deals and trending items.
The company has not disclosed whether affected in-store services have resumed. A spokesperson stated that the firm immediately activated response protocols upon identifying the security incident, involving third-party experts and taking down the website and some in-store services as a precaution.
Victoria’s Secret offers various products through its website and retail outlets, including intimate wear, clothing, fragrances, and body care items. Besides Victoria’s Secret, the company owns the PINK and Adore Me brands.
In 2024, Victoria’s Secret & Co. achieved $6.23 billion in net sales, with digital sales contributing $2 billion. North American stores accounted for 44% of annual revenue. The company reported a net income of $165 million for the year and had a market capitalization of approximately $1.67 billion as of Friday morning.
