An Amber Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Kemahanni King of Detroit, who was reportedly inside a car that was stolen from the 15400 block of Schoolcraft Road in Detroit. Michigan State Police are searching for the young girl, described as a black female standing at 3 feet tall and weighing approximately 40 pounds. Kemahanni was last seen wearing a black coat and black boots, and was inside a black 2006 Chrysler 300 with Michigan plates EQQ 8148 when it was taken on Saturday night.
Surveillance video released by Michigan State Police shows a suspect, described as a 45-50 year old black male with a gray mustache and beard. The suspect is said to be approximately 5-foot-5 to 6-foot tall, wearing an “Army” colored jacket, gray sweatpants, and a gray hooded sweatshirt. The authorities are urging anyone with information on the case to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-2260 to help locate Kemahanni King and ensure her safe return.
