DOGE Team Justifies Federal Layoffs: ‘Few Employees Have Been Fired’

In a recent discussion on Fox’s “Special Report” with Bret Baier, senior adviser to President Trump and technology entrepreneur Elon Musk, along with seven staff members from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), addressed the recent terminations of federal government employees initiated by the advisory board. They emphasized that the number of employees actually dismissed has been minimal. During the hour-long interview, Musk and the DOGE team defended their actions, asserting that “almost no one has gotten fired.”
