On Friday, Samvardhana Motherson International, an auto component manufacturer, announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 879 crore for the third quarter ending on December 31, 2024. In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 542 crore. The total revenue from operations increased to Rs 27,666 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, up from Rs 25,644 crore during the same period last year, according to a regulatory filing by Samvardhana Motherson International.
Vivek Chaand Sehgal, the Chairman of Motherson, stated that the company’s performance illustrates the resilience and adaptability of its diversified business model. He added that the company remains committed to maintaining a strong balance sheet by controlling capital expenditures and leverage ratios.
