Apple has announced the winners of its 2023 App Store Awards, recognizing the best apps and games on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and more. A total of 14 apps and games were chosen by the global App Store Editorial team, with the winners providing meaningful experiences and inspiring cultural change. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, expressed his admiration for the innovative and purpose-driven missions of the developers behind the award-winning apps and games.
The Apps of the Year winners for each of Apple’s products include AllTrails for iPhone, PrĂŞt-Ă -Makeup for iPad, Photomator for Mac, MUBI for Apple TV, and SmartGym for Apple Watch. Additionally, Apple selected Game of the Year winners for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, as well as five Cultural Impact Winners recognized for driving positive change through apps and games. The Trend of the Year was identified as generative AI, with apps integrating AI in various ways throughout the year.
All App of the Year and Game of the Year winners will receive physical App Store awards modeled after the App Store logo, highlighting the exceptional quality and impact of their creations. This year’s winners represent the limitless potential of developers to bring their visions to life and offer users new adventures, creativity, and entertainment.
