Amazon has recently reduced the price of Apple’s latest MacBook Air models. Just a day after lowering the price of the 13-inch base model to $939 on April 22, Amazon has further discounted it to $911.42. This price drop applies to the midnight black variant, while other color options are priced at $912. The 15-inch version in starlight and silver is available for $1,117, reduced by $82 from its normal price of $1,199. Both models feature 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage, with the 15-inch model offering a slightly higher resolution and two additional speakers.
Apple’s M4 MacBook Air, released in mid-March, includes new features such as support for two external displays and a 12MP Center Stage camera, alongside a faster CPU. The 15-inch version has received positive reviews for its performance, being called “impressively powerful” by Mashable’s Stan Schroeder and considered one of the best Apple laptop purchases. The 13-inch model is expected to be highly regarded in the budget category.
Purchasing either the 13-inch or 15-inch M4 MacBook Air through Amazon currently ensures the lowest available price. While B&H Photo offers the sky blue 13-inch model for $912, Amazon’s deals remain more competitive. An additional $100 savings is possible for college students and educators by purchasing directly from the Apple Store.
At Best Buy, the M4 MacBook Airs remain full-priced, with no discounts currently available.
