Jackbox Games, known for creating entertaining party games for over a decade, recently conducted its first-ever direct livestream event. The company announced the upcoming release of a new minigame collection and a standalone trivia title.
The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is set to introduce “five brand-new game concepts to enhance the party game experience.” Among these is an audio-based game where players compete by creating sound effects. Additionally, there is a fantasy-themed trivia game and a head-to-head joke-writing game.
The collection also includes a social deduction game based around a court trial and a “cozy drawing game,” which challenges players to create designs using “bizarre prompts.” This drawing game may remind players of Drawful, another drawing-based game developed by Jackbox. The Jackbox Party Pack 11 will be available this fall on nearly all platforms.
Jackbox Games had not released a party pack in the previous year, as the company took time off to “innovate and deliver some long-requested products for fans.”
During the showcase, Jackbox Games also revealed Trivia Murder Party 3, the next installment in their popular series. This new version will feature online matchmaking and will allow local play using the traditional Jackbox room code. Set in a summer camp with a serial killer on the loose, players must answer trivia questions to avoid the killer. The game will be available as an early access title on Steam later this year, with a full release planned for 2026.
