Over the past few days, Lego has introduced new sets for Star Wars, along with offerings for DC and Marvel enthusiasts. Fans of Spider-Man 2 (the 2004 film) or Batman Forever may find these releases particularly nostalgic.
The first set is based on the iconic subway train fight from Spider-Man 2 featuring Doctor Octopus. This 393-piece set includes characters such as Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, Aunt May, and J. Jonah Jameson. Spider-Man comes with interchangeable heads and an attachable web to recreate the scene of slowing down the train. The train itself has a removable roof that reveals an interior space for minifigure passengers.
Additionally, there is the Batman Forever Batmobile set. Comprising 909 pieces, the car features moving wheels, a molded windshield, and a detailed interior cockpit. The set includes a Batman minifigure with a specialized stand. This Batmobile serves both as a plaything and a display piece.
Both the Spider-Man 2 subway set and Batman Forever Batmobile will be available on August 1, priced at $55 and $100, respectively.
