These rare and difficult-to-catch monsters in the game have a tendency to flee early, making encounters with them highly tense. Unfortunately, one fan shared their devastating experience of missing a Galarian Bird because of the unskippable egg-hatching animations. The frustrated fan questioned why there isn’t an option to skip the eggs and expressed their disappointment in the community.
The trainer, known as Electrical_Fuel_4666, shared their story on the Pokemon Go subreddit. They had finally encountered a Galarian Articuno using Incense, but just as they went to click on the bird, four eggs started hatching in their Incubators. By the time they finished dealing with the eggs, the Articuno had disappeared. The fan expressed their frustration and wondered why there was no option to skip the egg animations. Some trainers offered a workaround by touching the screen with two fingers to speed up the animation, but the only way to fully skip it was to close the app entirely, which was not ideal.
This incident adds to the frustrations players have had with the Egg system in Pokemon Go. It’s not the first time players have expressed their disappointment, and it likely won’t be the last. The community continues to seek improvements and easier options to enhance gameplay and avoid missing out on rare encounters like the Galarian Birds.
