Samsung is gearing up to announce its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 series, in less than two months. The latest leak from renowned tipster Ice Universe reveals that the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra will have the same RAM as their predecessors. The base Galaxy S24 will come with 8GB RAM and no option to upgrade, while the S24+ will have a variant with 12GB RAM. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will still feature 8GB RAM in the entry-level model and 12GB RAM in higher-specced versions. This news might disappoint consumers who were expecting upgraded RAM in the new flagship devices, especially as competing Android brands offer models with 16GB or even 24GB RAM.

In addition to the RAM reveal, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to feature the Exynos 2400 processor in most countries, while the S24 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor. All three phones will reportedly have 12MP selfie cameras and 12MP ultrawide cameras. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 200MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera, while the S24 and S24+ will have a 50MP primary camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. Other features such as battery size and fast charging capabilities are also outlined in the leak, giving an insight into the specifications of the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series.

As the release date for the Galaxy S24 series approaches, leaks and rumors provide a glimpse into what consumers can expect from Samsung’s next flagship smartphones. The news of the unchanged RAM specifications for the new models may raise some concerns among potential buyers, especially in comparison to other Android brands offering higher RAM options. Nevertheless, the leaked specifications for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra provide an exciting preview of what Samsung has in store for its upcoming flagship devices.
