Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group collaborate with Larry Jackson’s billion-dollar-backed gamma project.

Gamma, the billion-dollar-backed company founded by Larry Jackson, has announced a partnership with rapper Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group. This partnership expands gamma’s artist, executive, and content rosters, with Ross set to release music and lead multimedia projects. Ross, a nine-time Grammy Award-nominated artist and entrepreneur, will be joined by his longtime business partner Breyon Prescott, who brings decades of experience as a label executive and artist manager. Prescott will serve as the Executive Vice President of Content at gamma, scouting talent and attracting multimedia projects while continuing to manage Jamie Foxx’s music career.

Larry Jackson, gamma CEO and Co-founder, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that Ross epitomizes the multi-faceted content pioneer that gamma is designed to amplify. Ross also echoed his enthusiasm, emphasizing that he and Breyon have a long history of successful collaboration and expecting to make historic moves together. With this partnership, gamma aims to propel the trajectory of Ross’s already established empire and showcase their collaboration with Meek Mill on a highly anticipated album.

Gamma has been making significant waves in the music industry since its launch in March. The billion-dollar-backed company has garnered support from high-profile investors such as Todd Boehly’s Eldridge Industries and Apple. It has already made strategic acquisitions, including partnering with distribution and services company Vydia and reaching agreements with Snoop Dogg and Usher. Furthermore, gamma is expanding its reach into emerging markets, particularly Africa and the Middle East, with the appointment of industry veterans Sipho Dlamini and Naomi Campbell as key advisors.
